My texts aren't arriving

Nine times out of ten this is A2P, not a broken connection — carriers filter unregistered traffic silently, so the CRM shows 'sent' and nothing reaches the handset.

Who this is for

Anyone whose texts aren't landing. Start here before changing any settings.

Steps

  1. Check A2P registration status first. If your brand or campaign isn't approved, carriers are filtering you — and filtering is silent, which is why the CRM says sent.
  2. Confirm your numbers are assigned to the approved campaign. An approved campaign with unassigned numbers behaves exactly like no registration.
  3. Send one text to your own phone. 'Sent' in the CRM is not evidence; arrival on a handset is.
  4. Check you actually have a sending number. Saved credentials with no number bought means there's no 'from' address at all.
  5. If a specific lead never receives anything, check whether they've opted out — STOP is honoured permanently and deliberately.

Why it fails silently

US carriers filter application-to-person traffic that isn't registered under an approved 10DLC brand and campaign. They don't reject the message back to you — they accept it and drop it. From your side that's indistinguishable from success, which is exactly why people spend days checking credentials that were never the problem.

If you're on SignalHouse

We can't read your registration status from their API, so what the CRM shows reflects what you've told us plus any webhooks received. If everything here looks approved and messages still aren't landing, check the status in your SignalHouse dashboard directly — that's the authoritative source for those accounts.
