Linking the Telegram assistant

Link your Telegram once and you can work leads, check your day and get notified from your phone. The bot itself is set up centrally — you only link your own account.

Who this is for

Any rep who wants CRM access from Telegram. The bot itself is configured centrally, not per rep.

Two separate things

There's the bot — configured once, centrally, with credentials that live in the platform's environment. And there's your personal link, which connects your Telegram account to your CRM user.

On a multi-tenant setup a tenant generally can't create the bot themselves; that's a platform-level thing. If the bot isn't configured, linking isn't something you can fix from your side.

Linking

The integrations page issues you a link code once the bot is live. Send it to the bot in Telegram and your account is connected. The code is only minted while you're unlinked — once you're linked there's nothing to copy.

Moving to a different phone

Send /link to the bot for a fresh code, then use it from the new device.

How to check it worked

  • The integrations page should show Telegram as linked for you specifically.
  • Send the bot a message and confirm it answers as you, with your leads.

Troubleshooting

No link code shownEither you're already linked, or the bot isn't configured on this instance.
Check whether the page shows you as linked. If it says the bot isn't configured, that's a platform-level setup, not something in your settings.
Bot replies but doesn't know my leadsYou're talking to the bot without a completed link.
Send /link and complete the code exchange.
