How do I send a manual text to a lead?
Type in the message box at the bottom of the thread and press Enter.
Steps
- Open the conversation in the Text Inbox.
- Type in the "Type a message…" box at the bottom.
- Press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line), or click the round send button.
- A character/segment counter shows below the box so you can keep it to one segment.
Manual texts you type are NOT held for quiet hours — they send immediately, any hour. If the lead is on DNC the send fails and a "Clear DNC & allow texting" button appears (only use it with fresh consent).
