When do texts actually send? (Quiet hours)
Automated texts only send 8am–9pm in the lead's local time; your manual texts send any hour.
Steps
- AI and automated messages (AI replies, drips, follow-ups, re-engagement) are held outside 8am–9pm in the lead's own timezone and released at the next 8am.
- If a lead texts in after hours, they get a one-time "you've reached us after hours" note and the real AI reply comes in the morning.
- Transactional and human-initiated messages bypass quiet hours: booking confirmations, reminders, and your manual texts send immediately.
So a manual text at 11pm goes out right away; an AI auto-reply at 11pm waits until 8am the lead's time.
This one isn't configurable, and that's deliberate
There is no setting for these hours. 8am-9pm in the LEAD'S local timezone is enforced in code for every automated sender.
It is a compliance boundary rather than a preference: texting outside a recipient's local 8am-9pm is what TCPA complaints are made of, and a per-agency override would be a switch whose only use is breaking that rule.
If you were looking for quiet hours in Settings, the ones there are yours - when the CRM is allowed to alert YOU. They have no effect on when leads receive texts.
