How does the AI assistant (Amanda) work?
The AI auto-replies to prospects' inbound texts on its own, from a background worker.
Steps
- When a prospect texts in, the AI drafts and sends a reply on its own — it runs in the background, not in your browser.
- AI-sent messages carry a purple "AI" tag, and the thread header shows an AI status pill (AI active, AI paused, etc.).
- When AI is about to answer you'll see "AI is drafting a reply… (you can still type to override)" — usually best to let it answer.
- The AI stops on its own once a lead is booked, opts out, or goes cold.
The assistant's name (Amanda by default) is set per agency. Deeper AI configuration and analytics live under Agency Admin (admin-only).
