How do I call one lead from their page?
Click Call on the lead's detail page; if you have no session it rings your cell first.
Steps
- Open the lead's detail page and click Call. The same Call button is on Command Center, Hot Leads, the inbox and the calendar.
- If you don't have an active session, a prompt rings your cell first. Enter your number and answer.
- That prompt also has your call settings: "Dial tone, hear the phone ring" (on by default), "Record my calls", and "Double dial". Dial tone and recording save to your profile and apply from this session on.
- Double dial calls a lead twice, back to back: if nobody picks up the first call, hang up and the widget dials them again on its own about a second later. A call you actually talked on is never redialed. The ×2 button on the floating session strip turns it on or off mid-session.
- Once you pick up, the lead is dialed and bridged to your phone.
- Use the floating call widget (bottom-left) for Mute, Keypad, and hang up.
It's the same engine as the power dialer. Just one number instead of a queue. Your cell is remembered for next time.
