Triggers. The ways a workflow can start
New lead, disposition change, appointment events, tags, custom fields, a date, a form, group enroll, or manual. Each can be filtered.
New lead arrives
Fires the moment a matching lead is created (from a campaign, import, or webhook). Filter by product, campaign, and/or source. This is how you say 'every new Final Expense lead from Facebook → run this nurture.'
Disposition change
Fires when a lead's disposition changes. Filter by the disposition it changed to (e.g. 'interested', 'no answer') and optionally what it changed from. Catches the change no matter who made it (rep, the AI, or a cron) because it's detected at the database level.
Booking created & no-show
Booking created fires when an appointment is booked for a matching lead (great for confirmation/reminder sequences). No-show fires when a lead misses a booked appointment (great for automatic rebook outreach).
Appointment status changes
Fires when an appointment moves state. Cancelled, confirmed, showed, or rescheduled. Pick which transitions you care about, so a cancel can kick off rebook outreach without touching the leads who showed.
Tag added or removed
Fires the moment a tag lands on (or comes off) a lead. Whether a rep did it by hand, another workflow added it, or an import carried it in. Leave the tag blank to catch any tag, or name specific ones. This is the usual bridge from an outside tool: it drops a tag, the CRM reacts.
Custom field changes
Fires when one of the fields you name gets a new value, a policy number filled in, a stage field advanced, a status your own process writes.
On a date, birthday, renewal, anniversary
Keys off a date on the lead (date of birth, or any date field), offset by a number of days before or after. Checked hourly and fires once per occurrence. The standard way to run a birthday text or a renewal reminder.
Form submitted
Fires when an external form or funnel posts to one of your inbound form URLs, including for a lead you already had. Filter to specific forms, or leave it open to any of your agency's forms.
Enroll a group now
Not an ongoing trigger, a one-time enroll. Pick a cohort (a campaign, a product, or a pipeline stage) and everyone matching enrolls the moment you publish. Useful for a one-off blast to an existing segment.
Manual
No automatic start, you enroll specific leads by hand from a lead's page ('+ Add to workflow', next to their status badges). Useful while you're testing a workflow, or for one-off campaigns you drive yourself.
