Products — what Virtual Closer knows about what you sell
A Product records the facts about what you sell: what it is, pricing, who it fits, and how to answer objections. How Virtual Closer works a lead is set separately, on the AI SMS step.
Steps
- Go to AI SMS & Automations → Products → + New product.
- Fill in the name, what it is, price range, target audience, and who it's a great fit for.
- Add objections ("objection :: response"), talking points, and any restrictions on what may be claimed.
- If it isn't insurance, pick a compliance profile.
- Save (it goes to review), then reopen it to attach reference PDFs. Turn on "Enable AI SMS" when the knowledge is complete.
What a Product actually is
A Product is the knowledge Virtual Closer draws on when it talks about what you sell. You are not writing its personality — the platform supplies the professional-assistant voice, the SMS discipline, and how to run a conversation. Your Product adds the facts: what it is, pricing, who it fits, objections, restrictions, documents. This is why a half-filled Product still works — it just has less to say. What Virtual Closer should ACCOMPLISH for a given set of leads is a separate question, answered on the AI SMS step inside a workflow.
Why the facts matter
Virtual Closer can only represent what you give it. 'What is it' becomes how it explains the product; 'who is this a great fit for' lets it self-qualify and avoid wasting time on bad-fit leads; objections are used verbatim-in-spirit when a lead pushes back; restrictions are hard rules it will not cross; reference PDFs let it answer factual questions accurately instead of guessing.
Review and enablement
New tenant Products land in 'pending review' so an admin can sanity-check the facts before it texts real leads. 'Enable AI SMS' is a separate switch — turning it on is what authorizes the AI to autonomously text leads assigned to that Product. Only enable once the product knowledge is complete enough to represent you well.
