Virtual Closer and its affiliated companies sell or provide consumer insurance inquiries made on our own brand sites to licensed insurance agents and agencies, as described in Section 1A of our Privacy Policy. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have specific rights over their personal information, and we extend the same rights to every consumer whose inquiry one of our brands generated.
How to submit a request
Email support@virtualcloser.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or the privacy address on the brand site where you made your request, and tell us which right you are exercising:
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of my personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Know and access the personal information you hold about me
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete the personal information you hold about me
Include the name, email address and phone number you submitted so we can find your record. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need an extension the law allows. Deletion is subject to exceptions such as consent records the law requires us to keep.

We honour Global Privacy Control.
Stopping contact
When you opt out by any channel (replying STOP to a text, unsubscribing from an email, asking a caller, or writing to us), we stop texts, emails and calls from every account in our Service that holds a copy of your record, including agents and agencies who bought your inquiry from us.
Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Appeals
If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain the outcome and how to contact your state’s attorney general.
No discrimination
We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
